The weather is great - lets meet in the park

Our app group (application group) is the small group we meet with each week from our church, we normally meet at Karl and Jill Halverson's house and have breakfast - and everyone brings something. We normally talk about the weeks theme at the Avenue and go over the verses that Ben will be speaking about. The best part of this time is comfortably talking to people we have grown to feel like family with - and being able to ask of talk about almost anything and be understood and respected. This week we met in Central Park(Louisville, not NY) and has lunch in the park. We mostly caught up with each other and are transitioning because there will be some changes to our groups soon. It was a great day out and the Halverson kids ran around, chased squirrels, climbed trees, and Annie even made a friend and invited a little girl and her mom over to our table for a bit. Glen played a little acoustic for us as we talked and then him and I walked over to the other side of the park so he could show me a big stage where they have events in the summer like plays and free concerts - We will have to see when these are! Glen also told me about a huge art fair they have on the street next to the park in October each year - we will have to go to that too!
